As a Watson Civil Engineering employee, you can choose to work at a time and place that suits your unique circumstances. Set your own hours and even your own pay. We have numerous interesting projects and are searching for qualified professionals to help complete them.
Successful applicants are required to possess and maintain the necessary hardware and software. Hardware typically includes a high-end laptop or desktop, monitor(s) etc. Software includes a subscription to Civil 3d, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office.
All positions are part-time or full-time, virtual, contract positions and are compensated on a mutually agreeable hourly or lump sum basis depending on the project.

GRADING AND DRAINAGE, PAVING PLANS, WATER AND SEWER DESIGN
A professional engineering license is a plus but not required. As long as you have a good understanding of grading and drainage concepts, have completed a few grading plans, have a working knowledge of Civil 3D, and know how to access tutorials on youtube, you may have all you need to qualify.
We work on numerous custom home projects, commercial, industrial and multi-family projects in jurisdictions all around the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Many of our projects require a basic drainage report so if you've written or been heavily involved in this kind of work, we would really like to hear from you.
Of course, if you're a highly trained and experienced professional in these areas, we have entire projects you can design and manage.
